UTC Jul 30, 2018 Dennis K. Musel, 74, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away Sat., July 28, 2018 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care. Services are 10:30 a.m., Tues., July 31, 2018 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Burial will take place at Rector Cemetery in Chelsea, IA. Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Mon., July 30, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.hrabakfuneralhome.com Dennis was born February, 27, 1944 to Vernon and Dorothy (Stoeker) Musel in Cedar Rapids, IA. He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Chelsea, IA. Following school, Dennis worked for Dick’s Tree Service and John Deere in Grinnell. In 1961 Dennis married Patsy Goodman at St. Joseph’s Church, Chelsea. The couple were blessed with four children. Dennis went to work for Funk’s Seed in Belle Plaine for several years until retirement. After retirement, he continued to mow yards and cemeteries. Dennis loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening. In his later years you could find him at the casino or watching old westerns. He is survived by his children, Kevin Musel of Woodward, Mark (Terri Ann) Musel of Columbia, TN, Kelly (Dean) Hinschberger of Belle Plaine and Matt (Brandi) Musel of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Lance, Micah, Ryllie (Skyler), Shayla, Skyler and great-grandchildren, Grayson and Kaiden.
